Wales produced an incredible comeback to draw with world champions Germany in front of a sold out crowd with Jack Pritchard the hero of the match. The last time these two teams faced the result was a very different story with Germany taking an 8-1 victory.

Having been beaten 0-3 in their opening fixture, Ireland looked to bounce back and collect some points in their second Pool B game against Scotland on Saturday. Scotland the lowest ranked team in Pool B, had been beaten 0-4 by Germany in their opening game and were in 4th place in the table on goal difference as a result.

Ireland kept alive their hopes of reaching the EuroHockey semi-finals with a comprehensive 5-0 win over Scotland in their second Pool match in Monchengladbach.

Current England midfielder and defender and the most experienced player in the EuroHockey Championships 2023 women's competition Laura Roper (previously known as Laura Unsworth) born on 8 March 1988, is now 35, the oldest player from any team apart from Martin Zwicker for Germany men's team who is now 36.
Laura Unsworth (now Laura Roper) made her debut in international field hockey in 2008 and since then she appeared in 331 matches in 51 events, following are her career facts and figures

Düsseldorf: The Indian Junior Men's Hockey Team went down 2-3 against the hosts Germany at the 4 Nations Tournament - Dusseldorf 2023 on Saturday. Sudeep Chirmako (7', 60') scored a brace for India while Michel Struthoff (41'), Ben Hasbach (53'), and Florian Sperling (55') were on target for Germany.

Düsseldorf: The Indian Junior Women’s Hockey Team started their tour at the 4 Nations Tournament - Dusseldorf 2023 with a 1-3 loss against hosts Germany on Saturday. Mumtaz Khan (60') was the lone goal-scorer for India. Hahn Marie (9'), and Seidel Carolin (37'), and Lena Keller (58’) scored a goal each in Germany’s win.
