New Delhi: The Indian Men's Hockey Team Chief Coach Craig Fulton opened up on the team’s preparations for the upcoming crucial tournaments including the Hero Asian Champions Trophy Chennai 2023 which will be followed by the high-stakes Hangzhou Asian Games, where the Indian team will be vying for direct qualification of the Paris Olympic Games 2024.

New Delhi: Hockey India on Thursday hosted a grand unveiling event of the Trophy for the highly anticipated Hero Asian Champions Trophy Chennai 2023. The elite event took place at the Major Dhyanchand National Stadium in New Delhi and it witnessed the Hon’ble Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports and Minister of Information & Broadcasting, Shri Anurag Thakur, unveil the coveted Trophy for the forthcoming event starting 3rd August where India, Korea, Malaysia, Japan, Pakistan, and China will vie for the Title.





Pakistan certain about Asian Champions Trophy participation

Besides India and Pakistan, the tournament starting August 3, will feature Korea, Malaysia, Japan, and China at the revamped and relaid Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium.

Pakistan’s participation in the upcoming Asian Champions Trophy is certain, with the sports minister indicating there would be no government hurdles to the team’s presence at the tournament.

2023 AAU Junior Olympic Games Selections



VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Following evaluation at the 2023 Junior Nexus Championship, presented by Osaka Hockey, USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce the athletes who have been selected to play in the 2023 AAU Junior Olympic Games. This year’s event will take place at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa, from August 2 to 5. These selected athletes will have the opportunity to participate alongside some of the best athletes in other sports from across the country. AAU Junior Olympic Games athletes have until Thursday, July 20, 2023 to register online through their USA Field Hockey Membership Account.
