Australia, New Zealand and Fiji seal FIH Hockey5s World Cup 2024 qualification



The Hockey5s Oceania Cup 2023 came to an end today in Gold Coast as Australia, New Zealand and Fiji secured the gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, in both men’s and women’s competition! With the top-3 classification, all three teams, across both genders, have now qualified for the FIH Hockey5s World Cup Oman 2024!

Game 1 Match Report. IRL V Austria

Ireland opened their three game series on Thursday with a 1-2 defeat against Austria. The games, which are part of the final preparations ahead of the European Championships II, are hosted by Ireland from July 23-29 in Abbotstown. They are taking place over the next few days, finishing on Saturday July 15th with an afternoon game against the same opponents.





PHF announces squad for Asian Champions Trophy

Adding to the excitement, Hockey India's Chennai Chronicles Series revisits some of the city’s iconic matches, which have witnessed some mega rivalries unfold.  





Indian Women’s Hockey Team gear up to kick off Germany tour against China

The Indian Women's Hockey Team will play three matches in Germany from 16th July 2023 to 19th July 2023



New Delhi: The Indian Women's Hockey Team will face off against China on Sunday in the first game of the Germany tour, where they will play three matches from 16th July to 19th July. The team led by ace goalkeeper Savita and Vice Captain Deep Grace Ekka will play one game against World No. 11 China on 16th July in Limburg, followed by two back-to-back matches against the hosts Germany in Wiesbaden, and Rüsselsheim, respectively, on 18th July and 19th July. The Indian Women's Hockey Team aims to utilize the tour for the preparation of the Hangzhou Asian Games 2023.





Wales girls shine in their final match whilst Wales boys bow out



Wales boys were looking to secure a spot in the final two as they played the Czech Republic in the first of two semi finals today in Swansea.

The Cassie Campbell Community Centre in Brampton, Ontario opened its water-based turf field in 2013. This facility has not only become a hub for the local field hockey community but has also gained national recognition as a quality venue for major field hockey events, such as this year’s U16 and U18 National Championships.

Former Wanderers hockey star Madelyn Jooste, known as Madelyn Lessing then, entered Namibia’s sport history books after she led the junior women’s team to a historic third place to become the first captain to return home with a medal from a continental championship.
