KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian men's indoor hockey team dethroned eight-time champions Iran in the Asia Cup final in Bangkok today.





Malaysian women take bronze in Asia Cup

BANGKOK: Malaysia finished on the podium in the women's Asia Cup by beating world No 13 Kazakhstan 2-0 in the bronze playoff in Bangkok today.

For Erin Matson and Meredith Sholder, it was a no-brainer to return for one final year in Chapel Hill with the North Carolina field hockey team.
