India looks to continue experimentation against Argentina
India chief coach Graham Reid continued to test his reserve players to broaden the team's base ahead of this year's Commonwealth Games and the Asian Games, which is a qualifier for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The Indian men's hockey team would look to continue its experimentation and test its bench strength ahead of a busy calendar year, despite suffering its second defeat in the tournament, when it takes on Argentina in the two-legged FIH Pro League tie beginning here on Saturday.

This will be India's first match since February in the Pro League, as their match against Germany was postponed due to Covid-19 cases in the German squad.

The Indian men's hockey team will be back in action in the tournament as they will be facing Argentina in a double header on March 19 and 20.
Indian women's team to host Netherlands on April 8 and 9
India and Netherlands were originally scheduled to play on February 19 and 20 but the matches had to be postponed following the visiting team's concern over rise in COVID-19 cases in its country.

The Indian women's team will take on Olympic champion The Netherlands in a double-header of the FIH Pro League on April 8 and 9 in Bhubaneswar, Hockey India said on Thursday.
German ploy to inject pace into the PC

On display in the FIH Pro League women’s doubleheader at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar was the running injection at penalty corners by Germany against hosts India. The injectors Julia Hemmerle and Sara Strauss ran a few steps before pushing the ball to the top of the D where the drag-flicking castles shaped for a direct essay or a variation.
