Japan upset hosts South Korea to win Women’s Asian Champions Trophy

Japan came from a goal down to beat defending champions and hosts South Korea to capture the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy title for the second time in Donghae.

Covid-19 turned out to be the winner yet again — knocking out the Malaysian men's team from the Asian Champions Trophy (ACT) starting Tuesday in Bangladesh.





Will be hard filling PR Sreejesh's shoes, says India goalkeeper Suraj Karkera

One-sided contests on opening day of Hockey National Championships

Karnataka beat Jammu & Kashmir 14-0, Puducherry beat Arunachal 14-0, Punjab beat Uttarakhand 11-0, Chandigarh beat Rajasthan 14-0 and Manipur beat Tripura 21-0 on the opening day of the Senior Men National Championships.

The 11th Hockey India Senior Men National Championship Pimpri Chinchwad 2021 kicked off in Pune on Saturday with Hockey Karnataka, Le Puducherry Hockey, Hockey Chandigarh and a solid looking Hockey Punjab stamping their credentials as contenders with huge wins in their respective openers. Manipur Hockey too showcased their pedigree by trouncing Tripura Hockey 21-0 in a high-scoring game of the tournament.





Western Stay Ahead of the Chasing Pack in Scottish Men's Indoor League



Western`s back-to-back victories over Watsonians and Uddingston have kept the Auchenhowie side in pole position in the indoor division one table by the end of day two. Champions Inverleith kept up their challenge with two wins, but the Tayside pair of Grove Menzieshill and Dundee Wanderers lost some ground.
