Zimbabwe get their first win of the Junior Women’s World Cup while India set up a 9th place clash against the United States



Lausanne, Switzerland: The second day of classification matches at the FIH Hockey Women’s Junior World Cup 2023 in Chile was a tough one to digest for the hosts as they lost badly to the United States. While Zimbabwe earned their first victory of the tournament via a shootout, South Africa and India went on to the next round of classification matches with a win in their respective games today.





India outshine Korea 3-1 in a classification match of the FIH Hockey Women’s Junior World Cup 2023

Ropni Kumari, Mumtaz Khan, and Annu netted a goal each for India



Santiago: The Indian Junior Women's Hockey Team came from behind to defeat Korea 3-1 in the 9th - 12th place qualification match of the FIH Hockey Women’s Junior World Cup 2023 played in Santiago, Chile, on Friday. Ropni Kumari (23’), Mumtaz Khan (44’), and Annu (46’) scored goals for India, while Jiyun Choi (19’) was the lone goal scorer for Korea.





South Africa too good for New Zealand in Chile



South Africa vs. New Zealand has been a trending fixture in South African sport in 2023 and its latest chapter was etched in Chile on Thursday as the two junior hockey sides met in the 13-16 Playoff. Both New Zealand and South Africa had been consigned to this bracket having lost a shootout in their respective matches against India and Korea.





U-21 USWNT Wins Third Consecutive Match at FIH Hockey Women’s JWC with Victory Over Host Chile



SANTIAGO, Chile – In prime time with an exuberant crowd at Claudia Schüler National Stadium in Santiago, Chile, the No. 5 U.S. U-21 Women’s National Team defeated No. 23 Chile to secure a spot in the 9th/10th place match of the FIH Hockey Women’s Junior World Cup. A true team effort, the Junior Eagles put up five goals against the host to claim a third consecutive victory.

Spain shine bright as Korea, Pakistan and Netherlands stay in hunt on third day of Junior Men's World Cup action



Spain produced their second convincing win of the tournament on day 3 of the FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup in Malaysia and are all but assured of a place in the quarterfinals at the top of Pool C, while Pakistan secured their first win to sit atop an incredibly tight Pool D.

BUKIT JALIL: France played fast and furious hockey for 30 minutes to become the first team to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Junior World Cup (JWC) on maximum points.





South Africa edged by France in nine goal thriller



The South Africans met France in their final group stage game of the 2023 FIH Junior World Cup knowing that they would need a three-goal win to qualify for a first ever quarter-final. They also knew the French would be incredibly difficult having made the semi-finals at both their previous events, while also opening the tournament with a back-to-back win.

Hockey India names 22-member Indian Women's Hockey Team for 5 Nations Tournament Valencia 2023

Ace goalkeeper Savita will lead the team, while veteran forward Vandana Katariya has been named her deputy for the tournament

Field Hockey Canada is thrilled to be sending three amazing women’s masters teams down to Buenos Aires, Argentina for the World Masters Hockey Pan American Continental Cup. Junior High Performance Staff Names 2024 U.S. U-16 & U-18 Women’s National Teams

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Following a 3-day training camp held in Charlotte, N.C., the women’s Junior High Performance Staff have evaluated and finalized the squads for the 2024 U.S. U-16 and U-18 Women’s National Teams. The Junior USWNT will have their next training camp at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from February 2 to 4, where athletes will compete for selection to one of the three traveling squads going on tour this spring.

New Delhi: Day 5 of the 1st Hockey India Junior and Sub Junior Men Academy Championship 2023 – (Zone A) witnessed Raja Karan Hockey Academy and Cheema Hockey Academy win their respective matches in the Sub Junior category while Army Boys Sports Company, Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy Bhagta, Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy and Namdhari XI won their respective matches in the Junior category.
