FIH Men's Hockey5s World Cup Qualifiers

Indian men's hockey team won the inaugural Asian Men's Hockey5s Qualifiers at Salalah, Oman 2023 Pakistan got the second position and Oman beating Malaysia to achieve the third position. Oman being the host of the FIH Hockey5s World Cup, 2024 to be held in Muscat from 28 to 31 January 2024, therefore, Malaysia also qualified for the event.

FIH Hockey5s World Cup Oman 2024 pools revealed!



The highly anticipated FIH Hockey5s World Cup Oman 2024 was officially launched today at a ceremony which took place in Salalah, Oman attended by FIH President Tayyab Ikram, chief guest H.H. Sayyid Firas Bin Fatik Al Said and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth H.E. Basil bin Ahmed Al Rawas.





Hosts Oman to face Dutch women in inaugural FIH Hockey5s World Cups

Hosts Oman have been drawn with The Netherlands, Malaysia and Fiji in the women's tournament for the inaugural International Hockey Federation (FIH) Hockey5s World Cups.





2024 draws revealed for first Hockey 5s World Cup in Oman



The first Hockey 5s World Cup moved a step closer following the men’s and women’s draws for next January’s event in Oman, which will see the Netherlands compete as the only top nation from Europe.

KUALA LUMPUR: When push came to shove, the Malaysian hockey 5s teams crumbled to fitter and more robust teams in the recently concluded Asia Cup in Salalah, Oman.





After winning inaugural Women’s Hockey5s Asia Cup, India aim to lift FIH Women’s Hockey5s World Cup Oman 2024

India are placed in Pool C along with the United States, Poland and Namibia



New Delhi: Ahead of the FIH Women’s Hockey5s World Cup Oman 2024, which will take place from 24th January 2024 to 31st January 2024, in Muscat, Oman, the global body, FIH, unveiled the pools and the match schedule on Sunday. A total of 16 nations will compete in the inaugural edition of the tournament and they have been divided into 4 groups, with India being placed in Pool C along with the United States, Poland and Namibia.





Indian Railways thumps Hockey Karnataka to clinch MCC-Murugappa Gold Cup 2023

The hero of the match was Indian Railways’ drag-flick expert and former junior India international Pratap Lakra, who scored a hat-trick in the final against Karnataka.

The experience and might of Indian Railways was too hot to handle for a young Hockey Karnataka side as the former scripted a 5-2 victory in the final of the 94th MCC-Murugappa Gold Cup All-India hockey tournament here on Sunday.

FH Storms Back For Overtime Victory Over Princeton



PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – North Carolina trailed for most of Sunday's matchup with Princeton but pulled ahead when it counted to take a 2-1 overtime win in a top-10 field hockey battle. In neutral-site action at Penn's Ellen Vagelos Field, the Tar Heels played from behind for almost 50 minutes before tying the game in the 54th minute of play then scoring the gam

UMass Claims First Shutout Win Of 2023, Defeating Lafayette 1-0

AMHERST, Mass. -- The Minutewomen (3-1, 0-0) notched their first shutout of the season, claiming a 1-0 victory over Lafayette (1-3, 0-0) on Sunday afternoon at Gladchuk Field Hockey Complex. Goalkeeper Myrte van Herwijnen recorded four saves as the UMass defense put on a clinic to keep The Leopards off the board.
