Indian Women’s Hockey Team go down 2-3 to China

The Indian Women's Hockey Team will play three matches in Germany from 16th July 2023 to 19th July 2023 before heading to Spain



Limburg (Germany): The Indian Women's Hockey Team lost 2-3 to China in a closely-fought match here on Sunday. For India, Navneet Kaur (24', 45') scored a double while Chen Jiali (9'), Zhong Jiaqi (45') and Xu Yanan (51') scored in China's win.





Indian women’s hockey team suffers 3-2 defeat to China in first match of Germany tour

Navneet Kaur scored a brace for India but Xu Yanan's goal gave China the lead and the eventual win. The Indian women's hockey team will play Germany next on Tuesday.

Germany men and women won the EuroHockey under-18 Championship titles on Sunday in front of a bumper home crowd in Krefeld.





Scotland U18 Boys finish 6th at U18 EuroHockey Championships



Late drama saw Scotland and England U18 boys go to a shootout after a 2-2 draw, but England took the penalties win 2-1 meaning Scotland finished in a creditable 6th spot at the U18 EuroHockey Championships in Krefeld.

A 2-0 victory saw Scotland U18 Girls beat Ireland to finish seventh at the U18 EuroHockey Championships, and secure vital ranking points for the future.
