On the fourth day of competition of the ODESUR 2022, in the women's branch, Chile faced Paraguay, obtaining its second consecutive victory by winning 6 to 0.

CAPE TOWN, South Africa - Today marked the first of the final two days of pool play, for most divisions, at the 2022 World Masters Hockey (WMH) World Cup in Cape Town, South Africa.





11 new players included in national camp for Sultan Azlan Shah Cup

KARACHI: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has included 11 new faces in the ongoing national hockey camp in the aftermath of staying away of nine senior players who preferred to compete in a professional league instead of national duty.

LAHORE: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) directed 11 players to report to the national training camp which is underway in Karachi ahead of the Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Cup.





SA Mens Squad named for Azlan Shah Cup



The 29th Azlan Shah Cup was due to take place In 2020 and 2021 but both times were denied due to the Covid pandemic. But at last the 29th staging of an event that was first staged in 1983 has been set for 16-25 November 2022. South Africa have been invited to participate in the event which will be the third time the African champions have contested after competing in 2005 and 2014.

The International Hockey Federation (FIH) can reveal that Janneke Schopman of Netherlands and Graham Reid of Australia have been voted the FIH Coaches of the Year 2021-22 in the women’s team and men’s team categories respectively.

On Wednesday, the Princeton women’s field hockey team (8–4, 2–0 Ivy) finished their non-league play with an outstanding performance against the Monmouth Hawks (4–7, 1–1 Colonial). Aggressive play from the Tigers earned them a 6–1 win to carry them toward the end of their season.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The 15th-ranked Harvard field hockey team (7-3, 2-0 Ivy) returns home for a pair of games this weekend, beginning with rival Yale (6-4, 1-1 Ivy) on Friday night (7 p.m.) at Berylson Field on ESPN+. The Crimson will host UMass-Lowell (8-3) on Sunday (Oct. 9) at 1 p.m. to conclude the weekend. That game will also air on ESPN+.
