Cairns ready to host 2022 Hockey Australia Women’s Masters



Hockey Australia (HA), with the support of the Queensland Government and Cairns Regional Council, is pleased to confirm the 2022 Hockey Australia Women’s Masters Championships will take place in Cairns from 21 September to 1 October.

The numbers on the board in Karen Shelton Stadium not only reflected the outcome of UNC’s game against Penn in the ACC-Ivy League Challenge, but also the team’s undefeated record: 4-0.

The No. 2 North Carolina field hockey team (4-0, 0-0 ACC) earned its first shutout of the season against Penn (0-2, 0-0 Ivy League), defeating the Quakers 4-0 in the ACC-Ivy Challenge.





Field Hockey Falls to No. 3 Michigan



ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Central Michigan field hockey team fell on Sunday, 9-0, to No. 3 ranked Michigan in a nonleague game at the Wolverines' Phyllis Ocker Field.





No. 4 Maryland field hockey defeats No. 18 Duke, 7-2, to sweep Big Ten/ACC Cup

Against her former team, Maryland midfielder Leah Crouse had an extra ounce of motivation. Crouse, who chose to play for head coach Missy Meharg after as a graduate student after four seasons at Duke, saw her team — ranked fourth in the nation — face off against the 18th-ranked Blue Devils in their second game of the Big Ten/ACC Cup.





No. 7 Field Hockey Falls to No. 15 UConn, 2-0, Despite Late Surge



CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Despite a late surge of chances, including six penalty corners in the final quarter,, No. 7 Harvard field hockey (1-1) was edged by No. 15 UConn (2-1), 2-0 at Berylson Field on Sunday afternoon.





Field Hockey Claims Shootout Win Against App State



PHILADELPHIA - Shannon Tringola scored the game-winner in the final round of a shootout as the Drexel field hockey team won its first game of the season, 2-1 against the Appalachian State Mountaineers on Pride Day on Sunday afternoon.





Zandbergen's Late Tally Leads Field Hockey Over American 2-1



WASHINGTON, D.C. – The 19th ranked Old Dominion Field Hockey team defeated the 21st ranked American Eagles on Sunday by a score of 2-1 at the Jacobs Recreational Complex. Frederique Zandbergen scored the game winner for ODU with just over four minutes left in the match. The Monarchs now extend their win streak to six games against the Eagles.





NZ Secondary school tournaments a fantastic success



After six days of play at the National Secondary School Tournaments around the country, the action was highly competitive across the board with nearly 5000 students competing
