France grind out win over South Africa, Argentina men, women sweep England



France wrapped a gruelling but rewarding Pro League series in Potchestfstroom with a 2-1 win over South Africa. South African 19-year-old Cassiem Mustapha scored an absolute rocket of a goal in the first quarter to leave France chasing but a Blaise Rogeau redirection and a Victor Charlet penalty stroke sealed France’s third win of their series in South Africa.





Women's Hockey Pro League leaders Argentina beat England 5-2 once again

Argentina's women beat England 5-2 for the second day running in the Hockey Pro League, while the men also tasted victory versus the same opposition and France ended their trip to South Africa on a winning note.





France hangs on to tight victory in Potchefstroom

Potchefstroom was the destination as for the final time of 2021-2022 FIH Pro League France took to the field in South Africa. The French had enjoyed a fairly successful trip to the African Champions as their victory against India had propelled them into the top 10 of the World Rankings. For the South Africans, who celebrated Dayaan Cassiem’s 50th test cap, it was an opportunity to show the lessons learnt so far in an incredibly tough tournament.
