NEW DELHI: When the US under-21 boys won the bronze medal at the Pan American Games, they didn't just end their long wait to stand on an international podium, but also said a silent  prayer -- for the outside chance they earned to be on a flight to India for the Junior World Cup. Not that they wanted any team to withdraw, but in Covid times, you never know..





Passmore confirms squad for women’s Junior World Cup debut in South Africa

David Passmore has named his travelling squad of 20 players to form Ireland’s first ever side to contest the women’s Junior World Cup in Potchefstroom, South Africa from December 5 to 17, 2021.

Cape Town - After many years of playing the game at all levels, the experience and coaching pedigree of Olympian Lenise Marais will stand the South African team in good stead at the upcoming Junior Hockey Women’s World Cup in Potchefstroom, starting on December 5.

The Liberty field hockey team’s fall season began in the same place its spring campaign ended — inside the Liberty Football Center team meeting room. It is this meeting space in which Nikki Parsley-Blocker had to deliver the news to her team in late April the Flames were passed over yet again for an at-large spot in the NCAA Tournament.





Michelle Vittese Named Head Coach of Temple Field Hockey



PHILADELPHIA - After serving as the interim head coach of the Temple field hockey team for the 2021 season, Michelle Vittese has been named as the team's head coach, announced Temple University Vice President and Director of Athletics Arthur Johnson. A two-time Olympian, Vittese has served on the Owls staff since March of 2019.
