Double success for Scotland Women



Scotland’s senior women began their build-up for the World Cup qualifiers with two good wins against Great Britain Elite Development Programme. These challenge matches took place at Peffermill, Edinburgh on Sunday and Monday evenings.





Five continents represented in FIH Rising Star of the Year Awards



The nominations for the FIH Rising Star of the Year Award for 2020-21 feature some of the most exciting young players on the planet, with the six candidates – three men, three women – representing all five hockey playing continents. All six were took to the field at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, showcasing their fantastic abilities on the world’s greatest sporting stage.





SA U21 Sides named for IPT

The South African Hockey U21 sides have been named for the Senior IPT in Western Cape in October. This will be a massive opportunity for the Mens and Women's side to test themselves ahead of their respective Junior World Cups. The SA U21 Men will be heading to India for their tournament, while the SA U21 Women will be hosting the first ever African World Cup in Potchefstroom in December.





Ford National Hockey Championships Postponed



Hockey NZ, in conjunction with the thirty-two hockey associations around the country, have come to the decision to postpone the Ford National Hockey Championship until the week 14-20 November.





Belgium hockey reaches 53,000 players as club game grows
