Namibia’s national women’s outdoor hockey team leaves for Pretoria, South Africa this weekend for the Afcon Olympic Qualifier, where only the winning nation will book their ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Chennai, 24th October 2023: The 1st Hockey India Sub Junior Men & Women South Zone Championship 2023 concluded today in Chennai Tamil Nadu with Hockey Andhra Pradesh being crowned Champions in the Sub Junior Women’s Category after their 5-0 triumph over Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu, accompanied on the podium by Hockey Karnataka, which finished third. In the Sub Junior Men’s Category, Hockey Karnataka defeated Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu by 3-2 to claim the bragging rights. Hockey Andhra Pradesh finished third in the Sub Junior Men’s Category.
