USWNT Closes Out Weekend with a Second 3-0 Win Over Canada

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The No. 16 U.S. Women’s National Team saw a repeat of their match on Friday against No. 15 Canada at Queens University of Charlotte's Bessant Field on Sunday evening. A dominating and promising performance from the United Eagles resulted in a 3-0 victory.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian men's hockey team will start with Southeast Asian opponents before meeting their biggest challenge in South Korea in Group B of the Hangzhou Asian Games from Sept 23-Oct 8.

Bengaluru: A fortnight ago, when Sonika's mother boarded a flight from Delhi to arrive in Bengaluru to attend Sunehra Safar - a special send-off ceremony hosted by Hockey India little did the 26-year-old player know that she would receive her India jersey by her mother ahead of the all-important Hangzhou Asian Games, which is scheduled to be held from 23rd September 2023 to 8th October 2023.

Margot Lawn found her way through the Yale defense in the sixth minute of the first quarter. Pinning herself in the left corner of the shooting circle, Lawn flicked the ball and air dribbed it past the goalie for the game’s first score.

No. 4 Maryland field hockey won its third straight game Sunday, a 3-1 win over Yale in the final game of the Terrapin Invitational.





No. 12 Field Hockey Downs No. 15 Princeton in Double Overtime

PRINCETON, N.J. – No. 12 Rutgers field hockey continued its unbeaten streak to start the season. The Scarlet Knights earned a 2-1 win at No. 15 Princeton to improve to 6-0 on the year. RU earned its second ranked win of the season, and all six wins have come on the road. The 6-0 start represents the best record to open a year under head coach Meredith Civico, and first time opening a campaign 6-0 since 2008.  





No. 14 Field Hockey Falls to No. 6 UVA Despite Late Push



CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. - No. 14 Harvard field hockey (2-2, 0-0 Ivy) fell to No. 6 UVA despite a late push on Sunday afternoon. In a defense-first game - the Crimson picked up the pressure in the third and fourth quarters but were unable to tie it up. Harvard now sets its sights on the home opener next Friday against Dartmouth.




#10 Field Hockey Falls at #8 Michigan, 2-0



ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The 10th-ranked Saint Joseph's field hockey team fell to #8 Michigan, 2-0, at Phyllis Ocker Field on Sunday afternoon.

Nittany Lion Sophia Gladieux notched a hat trick in the home win for Penn State.
