USMNT Battle Past Puerto Rico in 2023 Hockey5s PAC Pool Game

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The U.S. Men’s National Team took on Puerto Rico in their second pool game of the 2023 Hockey5s Pan American Cups (PAC) at Mona Hockey Field in Kingston, Jamaica. Tied 1-1 after the first 15 minutes, USA battled and tallied two goals in the final minutes for the 3-1 win.

KINGSTON, Jamaica – In their second pool game of the 2023 Hockey5s Pan American Cups (PAC), the U.S. Women’s National Team put up another dominant scoring effort against Guatemala. Six athletes tallied goals as the red, white and blue went on to win 8-0.

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The U.S. Women’s National Team defeated Paraguay in their third pool game of the 2023 Hockey5s Pan American Cups (PAC). Paraguay kept USA off the scoreboard until the 8th minute, but the United Eagles tallied five within a ten minute span, powered by four goals from Lora Clarke (Shaker Heights, Ohio), to secure the 5-0 win.

England-based Teague Marcano scored a beaver trick to lead T&T’s Calypso Stickmen to a 10-1 spanking of Central American champions Guatemala in their Men’s Group B match at the inaugural Hockey5s Pan American Cups Tournament at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus Turf, Kingston, Jamaica, on Monday.

India fightback to secure 2-2 draw against Korea in Women's Junior Asia Cup 2023

New Delhi: The Indian Junior Women's Hockey Team came from behind to record a thrilling 2-2 draw against Korea in their third game of the Women’s Junior Asia Cup 2023 in Kakamigahara, Gifu Prefecture, Japan on Tuesday. Yujin Lee (15') and Jiyon Choi (30') found the back of the net for Korea, while Deepika Soreng (43') and Deepika (54') scored a goal each, enabling India to secure a draw and maintain their position at the top of Pool A in the Women's Junior Asia Cup 2023.

51st Annual Cal Cup Concludes After a Weekend of Excitement at Moorpark College

MOORPARK, Calif. – After four days of non-stop field hockey over Memorial Day Weekend, the 51st Annual California Cup International Field Hockey Tournament (Cal Cup) is in the books. The event concluded with two exciting finals matches at Harris Family Stadium at Moorpark College in Moorpark, Calif. The Women’s Super-Division final matched an international team, Osaka, against a domestic team from Maryland, the Thirsty Turtles. In the end, Osaka claimed a thrilling 1-0 over the Thirsty Turtles. In the Men’s Super-Division final, the LA Tigers became back-to-back champions after defeating the LA Kings 3-1 – also securing their 5th title and the $5,000 prize money. This year’s champions also received the first ever Cal Cup Championship Belt.





Kampala Hockey Club Swans dethrone Gazelles

The Swans opted for experienced players to get the work cut out after Nakintu’s second-quarter goal, followed by two fourth-quarter goals from Namusoke and Sarah Arinaitwe helping their side dethrone Gazelles from the top of the log.

This season’s youth club competitions reached an exciting conclusion on 4 June, with the U14 National Club Cup Finals. After a thrilling day’s action, both finals went to penalty shoot-outs before Watsonians girls and Edinburgh HC boys were crowned the 2022-23 champions.
