New Delhi: Hockey India on Thursday announced a 33-member core probable group for the Senior Men’s National Coaching Camp, scheduled to be held in Rourkela, Odisha from February 1 to 7. The camp will form part of the team’s preparations for the upcoming phase of the FIH Men’s Pro League, which is scheduled to be staged at the Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela from February 10 to 15.

The 33-year-old Manpreet Singh is not in the list of 33 probables for the home leg of the new season of FIH Pro League. Goalkeeper Krishan Bahadur Pathak too has been dropped.

Manpreet Singh’s next match in India jersey would have seen him equal the record of Dilip Tirkey’s 412 matches, the most appearances for the country in international hockey. However, the veteran midfielder has been shockingly left out of the list of probables announced by Hockey India for the upcoming season of the FIH Pro League.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) on Thursday announced that it would pay a daily allowance of $115 per player to members of the national hockey team, directing the finance department to release the payments ahead of the team’s departure in order to ensure players do not face any inconvenience during their international assignment.

Field Hockey Canada is thrilled to announce the youth tour rosters that will head to Europe this spring. Currently four rosters of youth women are announced.
