Pakistan made an ideal start when Abdul Rehman opened the scoring with a field goal in the third minute. Wales gradually regained control and turned the match around in the second quarter, with Gareth Furlong equalising in the 25th minute before Rhys Bradshaw put the hosts 2-1 ahead just 31 seconds later.
