Ranchi: With only a week left for the start of the FIH Hockey Olympic Qualifiers Ranchi 2024, the excitement among hockey fans looms large as teams vie to make the top 3 position in order to book a berth for Paris Olympic Games 2024. The teams in the fray include Germany, Japan, Chile and Czech Republic grouped in pool A while hosts India are grouped in pool B along with United States, New Zealand and Italy.

Men’s Roster Named for Inaugural FIH Hockey5s World Cup Oman 2024



MUSCAT, Oman – Following the tryout that took place in late November at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in Charlotte, N.C., U.S. Men’s National Team Head Coach Harry Singh has named the 10-athlete roster that will compete at the inaugural FIH Hockey5s World Cup Oman 2024. The event is slated for later this month, with the men competing from January 28 to 31 in Muscat, Oman.

FIH turns 100 on 7 January 2024!



Lausanne, Switzerland: The International Hockey Federation (FIH) celebrates its Centenary on 7 January 2024. While historical references suggest that hockey has been around for thousands of years, with mentions made in Iran, Ethiopia, Egypt and ancient Greece, it wasn’t until 1876 that formal rules were drawn up and 1924 that the sport was formalised with the formation of the Fédération Internationale de Hockey sur Gazon on 7 January of that year, in Paris, France.

USA Field Hockey Announces Five Inductees to 2024 Hall of Fame

The five inductees are Patrick Cota, Kelly Doton and Katelyn (née Falgowski) Ginolfi who join an already impressive list of athletes added to the USA Field Hockey Hall of Fame. Amy (née Hassick) Baxter has been named an Officials inductee while the late Dr. Christine Grant a Contributor inductee.





New year welcomes day two of Scottish women`s indoor National League 1
