Australian field hockey defender Matt Dawson retired from the international hockey. Matthew Dawson was born on 27 April 1994 in North Gosford, NSW, Australia.
Matthew Dawson, the son of the famous Australian cricketer Trish Dawson, made his debut in international hockey during the Test series played against India, in Perth, 2014.
Matt Dawson appeared in three Olympic Games 2016, 2020 (silver medal), 2024.
Matthew Dawson appeared in two Commonwealth Games 2018 (gold medal) and 2022 (gold medal).
