Pakistan's hockey team suffered a fourth consecutive defeat in the ongoing FIH Pro Hockey League in Santiago, Argentina, as they were beaten 5-1 by the host nation.

With this loss, Pakistan's winless streak continues in the tournament.

In the opening match, the Netherlands defeated Pakistan 5-2, followed by a 3-1 loss to Argentina in the second match. Pakistan's struggles persisted in the third game, where they were soundly beaten 7-3 by the Netherlands.

In their latest encounter with Argentina, the Pakistani team struggled both defensively and tactically, allowing Argentina to dominate the game and secure a convincing 5-1 victory.

As expected, Pakistan, ranked 14th in World ranking playing for the first time in the elite League which is in its 7th edition are facing an upheaval battle.

Unsurprisingly they find themselves at the bottom of the table seeking their first points.

The next assignment for Pakistan in the FIH Pro League will be in Hobart, Australia in February 2026 where they will face the hosts and Germany in double headers.

Before that they will play in the World Cup Qualifiers in Ismailia, Egypt (1st-7th  March 2026).
