No. 1 Northwestern took down No. 7 Michigan in overtime Friday afternoon, clinching a share of the Big Ten regular season title.
Top-Ranked Northwestern Downs MSU in Home Finale
East Lansing, Mich. - For the second straight Sunday, MSU keeper Lyra Gavino recorded a career-best 17 saves, but No. 1 Northwestern's powerful offense could only be held at bay for 30 minutes as the visiting Wildcats posted a 5-0 victory over MSU to secure the Big Ten title outright. Northwestern is now 17-0, while MSU falls to 8-9 overall on the season.

In field hockey, the penalty corner is a time for the offense to capitalize and score goals, but on Friday the Michigan field hockey team struggled greatly with this task. 
FH Dominant In 4-0 Senior Day Win Over Boston College

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – In its final regular season home game, the North Carolina field hockey team dominated once again in a 4-0 victory over No. 9 Boston College. It was a happy occasion at Karen Shelton Stadium on Sunday as the team honored their seven graduating seniors after the game.

Red, yellow, black, white and orange balloons floated on the far West side of the Ball State bleachers at Briner Sports Complex. One balloon was in the shape of a smiling sun, and countless other balloons were bunched together to create a Cardinal. 
Gladys nets golden goal in field hockey’s double-overtime win at Saint Francis
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Isabel Gladys picked a whale of a time to fire her first goal of her senior campaign. The veteran midfielder sent in a game-winning golden goal just over three minutes into the second overtime Sunday afternoon to lift the Bellarmine field hockey team to a 2-1 win over Saint Francis.
