Seven Goals Propel Heels To Victory in Return Home
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – In their first home game in nearly a month, North Carolina Field Hockey team romped to a 7-0 victory over Wake Forest on Friday night. Goals from six different players made it a happy homecoming at Karen Shelton Stadium.

The No. 1 North Carolina field hockey team (11-0, ACC 5-0) defeated the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (5-8, ACC 1-4), 7-0, at Karen Shelton Stadium on Friday night. 
No. 4 field hockey earns exhilarating overtime win over No. 12 Syracuse
The Cavaliers fought the Orange through two overtime periods and standard shootout to come out on top in sudden death play

Once again, Mia Abello provided the clutch score for Virginia to win the day.
After a brutal home loss to Saint Joseph's last weekend, No. 4 Virginia field hockey walked back onto Turf Field to host No. 12 Syracuse. In an aggressive game characterized by turnovers and referee reviews, the Cavaliers (11-2, 5-1 ACC) beat out the Orange (10-4, 4-3 ACC) in a sudden death shootout after two periods of overtime.

On Friday, No. 8 Maryland field hockey fell to No. 3 Ohio State, 2-1. A last-minute goal from Ohio State’s Makenna Webster marked the Buckeyes first-ever win over the Terps in 21 meetings.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant field hockey rallied from a 3-0 halftime deficit, with Filou Verhoeven's goal three minutes into the second overtime completing a remarkable comeback in the Bulldogs' 4-3 victory over Maine on Friday afternoon at Cowen Field.

Smithfield, RI - The University of Maine field hockey program was defeated by Bryant on Friday afternoon, 4-3 in double-overtime.
Massachusetts Earns Sixth Shutout In 3-0 Win Over Lock Haven
AMHERST, MASS. -- No. 14 Massachusetts (12-3, 5-0) continued it's dominant stretch of defensive play, earning a 3-0 shutout victory over Lock Haven (2-13, 1-4) on Friday at Gladchuk Field Hockey Complex. With the win, Massachusetts remains undefeated in Atlantic 10 play while securing its sixth shutout of the season. 
Dragons Hold off Leopards for Ninth Straight, 3-2
PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel field hockey team extended their winning streak to nine straight games as the Dragons took down Lafayette Friday night at Buckley Field, 3-2. This streak tied their longest since the 2010 season when they also had a nine-game win streak. Drexel currently sits at the top of the CAA standings with a perfect 4-0 record in the conference.
Cardinal Drops Bout at Northwestern
Stanford’s final regular season road trip ends on Sunday at Indiana.
EVANSON, Ill. – Taking the field for its penultimate road and non-conference game of the season, Stanford field hockey fell at No. 2 Northwestern, 7-0. The Cardinal moves to 5-8 this season with the result.
Owls cruise past Georgetown for seventh straight win
Temple Field Hockey extends win streak to seven as they shut out Georgetown.

Throughout Temple’s six-game win streak, the Owls had struggled with starting games slow, taking multiple quarters to find the back of the net. Temple went into its game against Georgetown on Friday, desperate to break the trend.
Field Hockey Falls at No. 20 Temple
WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's field hockey team lost to its second nationally-ranked BIG EAST opponent of the season with a 3-0 loss at No. 20 Temple on Friday afternoon. The Hoyas fall to 3-10 overall and 1-4 in league play while the Owls improve to 9-4 on the year and 4-1 in conference action.

Field Hockey Earns Lopsided Win Over Mercyhurst
